Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Program 56 Clock Hours The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program at Health & Safety Education Training Center prepares Certified Nursing Aide (who has been certified 6 months) to expand their role by safely administering medications under the supervision of licensed nurses. This 56-hour program provides the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills needed to support residents in long-term care, assisted living, and similar healthcare settings. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the state certification exam and advance into broader medication aide responsibilities.
